Job Description

Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking dedicated Medical Assistants to join a reputable company in New Haven, Connecticut. The ideal candidates will provide superior clinical and administrative support to patients and clinicians, ensuring efficient operations within a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and provide routine information related to medical treatments and procedures.
  • Measure and record vital signs, collect specimens, prepare examining rooms, and select and lay out medical supplies.
  • Maintain medical equipment, record and report patient information, and retrieve laboratory test results and patient files.
  • Escort patients and visitors, and order and maintain an inventory of supplies.
  • Perform clerical functions related to medical activities.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, minimum of 2-3 years. Candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Must be a certified Medical Assistant, not just the diploma from school

Work Hours:

37.5 hours a week

Benefits:

Competitive pay ranging from $24.00-$27.00 per hour
